Op Walk Boston opened up with a welcome dinner for volunteers. The dinner represented the true multidisciplinary effort that allows this program to be successful year after year. The room was filled with administrators, physicians, nurses, operating room personnel (scrub techs, central processing), physical therapists, pharmacists, DePuy implant reps, and high school student volunteers. There were some people who have been a part of all 10 Op Walks and others who are here for the first time. Everyone was excited to begin the mission of improving patient quality of life through joint replacement surgery.
