Operation Walk Boston 2017 - Clinical Day 3 (March 4, 2017): Surgeries and Rehabilitation Continued

Today was our second full day of operating. We again had a busy but fulfilling day. We performed 17 total joint replacements today!

Outside of the operating room, the nursing staff continued to take excellent care of the patients on the floor, while physical therapy continued to work diligently to rehabilitate the patients.

Altogether, these past two day have been a reminder of how much of a multidisciplinary effort this mission is. There is no way that we could be successful without each and every volunteer who has contributed thus far.

In addition, the patients play a major role in the success of this mission, as they are all extremely motivated, which makes our jobs easier. Their dedication to their rehabilitation is inspiring to say the least!

This definitely would not be possible without Johnson & Johnson and their continued sponsorship and support of this mission!
